Stage Makeup Application & Techniques

Summary: For decades, makeup has been used to heighten or conceal facial and other features on actors on either a screen or a stage. It is almost always the case that every actor involved with a project wears some sort of makeup during a performance. This includes lotions, powders, lipsticks, polishes and many more examples. Makeup can be used to create an extreme look or make a person look like someone completely different like a zombie or a vampire as well. The cosmetics industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and much of that has to do with stage and video performances and their active participation in them.
